Olof Bergh

Olof Bergh has been a much-loved brandy in South Africa for a long time, finding its home in Goudini in the Breede River Valley, an area well known for its top shelf brandy grapes. What makes Olof Bergh interesting is that it is blended and matured using the Solera method. This involves brandies of differing ages being stored in oak barrels on top of each other, with the top layer filled with young brandy that slowly moves through to the bottom layers as it ages, resulting in the consistency Olof Bergh is known for.
